MAXUM 800 WATERTIGHT is a hinged solid top ductile iron manhole cover (D400) featuring a large clear opening, designed for heavy traffic areas including cars and HGVs at urban speeds.
Equipped with a non-rocking gasket made from a one-piece molded EPDM seal, ensuring enhanced stability, noise reduction, and a secure fit under traffic conditions.
This high-performance watertight manhole cover is pressure-tight and capable of withstanding pressure surges of up to 1.5 bar within drainage and sewer networks.
Certified by TÜV, it ensures 100% watertightness against surface water and runoff providing reliable protection against infiltration in demanding environments.
Optionally available with a lifting assistance system, designed to improve operator safety and facilitate easier handling during installation and maintenance operations.
