SOVAL, member of the SLF group (Somborn Lang Ferry)
SOVAL is part of the family-owned industrial group Somborn Lang Ferry (SFL Group), which now has over 800 employees and has been renowned for over two centuries for its expertise in the art of foundry.
Made in France
Fonderies de Brousseval et Montreuil (FBM) has been based in Haute-Marne (52) since 1830 and boasts an annual production capacity of more than 50,000 metric tons of cast iron. Producing high-quality products, primarily secondary melting, caters to the specific demands of the group’s industrial customers and its subsidiary SOVAL.
Founded in 1932, Soval develops, promotes, and distributes FBM products and provides innovative, reliable solutions for water supply and roadworks, as well as closure systems for telecommunications networks and other dry and wet network infrastructures.
Thanks to its long history and deep roots in cast iron, SOVAL is a key player in the drinking water supply sector and a proud embodiment of French industrial excellence.
This positioning reflects the dedication of our company and the SLF Group to innovation, quality, and sustainability in the water and road sectors. It is the result of a rich heritage and extensive expertise built over several decades.
A wide range of products
In addition to these products, which include hydrant heads, road and telecom buffers, flanges, and spigot fittings, SOVAL also supplies a broad variety of parts for wastewater and drinking water networks (cast iron pipes, PVC and HDPE pipes and fittings, valves, and control equipment, hydraulic mortars, and sealing resins).
A responsive and reliable network
SOVAL has a distribution network of 18 branches across France, all working closely with its central hub in Haute-Marne. Each branch has regional sales consultants on-site and in-field, as well as an independent depot. We have spread these local branches throughout France, along with our warehousing facilities, to ensure the best possible response and customer care.
