We offer locking systems for all our manhole covers and access covers, including hexagonal head locks and coded head locks (EXC, OTC, etc.). For our most standard products, we can integrate these locks into the initial order or add them later.
For the most sensitive sites, SOVAL has developed a patented anti-burglary system known as “SAE.” For all our D400 manholes and articulated covers, you can request this lock, which has a unique design to withstand aggression.
The CNPP, a prominent entity in risk prevention and control, has validated that closing the manhole cover prevents access to the lock. We provide operators with an SAE operating key to restrict third-party access.
The VIGI cover is designed to resist intrusion attempts thanks to its SECUR-IT high-strength cast iron. It satisfies NF EN 1627 and NF EN 1630 standards, earning the classification CR4 (securing access points: locking, lock, hinge, and joint).
To achieve this, we cast the entire VIGI (frame, cover, chimney) in a special cast iron treatment, making it ultra-resistant and puncture-proof. We equip it with a stainless steel drip tray, an anti-intrusion sensor, and a safety lock that meets the highest security access standards (European barrel, Deny lock).
Available in 600 and 700 round frame diameters, we can also customize non-standard square formats to match your existing structures.
