ARES 750 access cover D400 class
Multipurpose locked hinged and lift assisted access hatch made of cast iron, ARES 750 in D400 slow traffic flow is both compact and cost-effective.
Innovations improve usability and enhance safety: spring assist lift, safety blocking device with automatic gravity pawl, self-locking by means of ductile iron bar, identification and customization options.

Material
Hatch Cover(s) – Spheroidal cast iron EN-GJS-500-7.
Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
Hatch Frame – Steel hot-dip galvanized, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
Fasteners – Stainless steel / cast iron
Options
Special lock : burglar-proof SAE.
Standard lock : 1/4 turn.

Safety non-return device at the opening
A the opening, non-return device automatically locks the cover and prevents the cover from being accidentally closed.
A locking pin in option adds an extra level of safety.

Identification, finition & customization
On request :
- 1 badging area for customization of 450 x 250 mm by casting on the cover or with an insert plate made of powder-coated cast iron (color of your choice).
- 2 badging areas are available for customization of 180 x 40 mm with stainless steel plates.
Cable-pass
2 dedicated cable-pass areas are pre-equipped on the ARES cover and can be quickly opened (breakable plates in cast iron).
