KCVAA access cover D400 class
Ductile iron access hatches equipped with solid top covers, 400kN according to EN 124-2 standard.
The KCVAA locked, hinged and lift assisted access cover range is designed for installation on dry network chambers such as telecommunications or fibre optic networks, or onto every underground structure.
Access hatch comes as standard with a ¼ turn locking device.
Triangular covers and non-rock design by means of three-point suspension provide high stability under heavy traffic flow conditions.

Main features

Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.
Place of use
D400 : Carriageways of roads (including pedestrian streets), hard shoulders and parking areas, for all types of road vehicles.
Material
Hatch Cover(s) – Spheroidal cast iron (ductile) EN-GJS-500-7.
Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
Hatch Frame – Steel hot-dip galvanized,
average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
