Product description

Ductile iron fittings for PVC pipes flanges socket are used to connect a flanged part to a rigid PVC pipe in water supply and irrigation systems by interlocking.

Material

Spheroidal cast iron GS 420-5.
EPDM gasket.

Coating

Epoxy paint coating RAL 5005.
Reinforced thickness of 250 microns and ACS approval.

Assembly

Assembly with loose flange and automatic push-in joint fitting for PVC pipes in compliance with current standards. The pipes to be fitted together must be cut perpendicularly and chamfered at the end.
Watertightness is made by a radial compression of the EPDM gasket when the pipe si simply fitted.
Backlash (J) for angular deflection must be respected.
On the loose flange side, we recommend using EPDM gaskets with metallic insert : see datasheet JOINT-INSERT-METAL.
