Coupling Souplessur
The SOUPLESSUR coupling allows cast iron pipes to be connected by mechanical joint fitting using counter-flanges.
Material
Body and counter flange : Spheroidal Cast Iron GJS 420-5.
EPDM gasket.
Fasteners : Galvanized steel.
Coating
Epoxy paint RAL 5005.
Reinforced thickness of 250 microns and ACS approval.
Assembly
SOUPLESSUR assembly with double mechanical anchored joint fitting.
It is preferable for the pipes to be fitted together to be cut perpendicularly and chamfered at the end.
Watertightness is made by an axial compression of the EPDM gasket by means of the counter-flange tightened by bolts.
Backlash (J) for angular deflection must be respected. The recommended torque for counter flange bolts is 80 N.m.
