Product description

The SOUPLESSUR-T flanged socket MAXI-FONTE is used to join 2 ductile iron pipes.

Assembled by mechanical interlocking of 2 counter-flanges, this flanged socket can connect any type of cast iron.

Material

Spheroidal Cast Iron GJS 420-5.

Coating

Epoxy paint coating RAL 5005.
Reinforced thickness of 250 microns and ACS approval.

Assembly

SOUPLESSUR assembly with movable flange and mechanical anchored joint fitting.
It is preferable for the pipes to be fitted together to be cut perpendicularly and chamfered at the end.
Watertightness is made by an axial compression of the EPDM gasket by means of the counter-flange tightened by bolts.
Backlash (J) for angular deflection must be respected. The recommended torque for counter flange bolts is 80 N.m.
Flat gaskets and bolts for mobile flanges available on request.
