KCVAA-FTE | Hinged Lift-Assisted Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 400 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The KCVAA-FTE range of hinged and lift-assisted ductile iron access hatches is designed for demanding road and underground utility applications.
Certified to load class D400 in accordance with EN 124-2, the KCVAA-FTE provides a robust and durable access solution for carriageways, hard shoulders and parking areas used by all types of road vehicles.
The access hatch features solid-top triangular ductile iron covers combined with a ductile iron frame. Their three-point suspension provides a non-rocking design and high stability under heavy traffic conditions.
Particularly suitable for telecommunications, fibre-optic and other utility networks, the KCVAA-FTE range is also designed for a wide variety of underground structures.
Each hatch is equipped as standard with a quarter-turn locking device and gas-strut lift assistance. An automatic safety blocking device prevents accidental closure, ensuring safe and convenient operation during access and maintenance.
