LTVA | Hinged Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 400 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The LTVA range of hinged ductile iron access hatches is designed for underground utility applications.
Certified to load class 400 kN slow traffic flow in accordance with EN 124-2, the LTVA provides a robust and durable access solution for hard shoulders and parking areas used by all types of road vehicles.
Particularly suitable for telecommunications, fibre-optic and other utility networks, the LTVA range is also designed for a wide variety of underground structures.
Each hatch is equipped as standard with a quarter-turn locking device. An automatic safety blocking device prevents accidental closure, ensuring safe and convenient operation during access and maintenance.

Main features
- ¼ turn locking device with stainless steel H22 hex. head (other head types available upon request).
- Stainless steel hardware and fasteners.
- Safety blocking device to prevent accidental cover closure.
Certification
Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.

D400 slow traffic flow : (including pedestrian steets) Hard shoulders and parking areas, for all types of road vehicles.
Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Hot-dip galvanized steel, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
