TRIGUARD-PRO | Hinged Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 400 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The TRIGUARD-PRO, with a clear opening of 700 × 700 or 700 × 1400 mm, is a brand new access hatch solution for demanding infrastructure projects. It complies with load class D400 in accordance with EN 124-2 and is certified by TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH.
Designed to meet the latest quality standards, the TRIGUARD-PRO combines a wide range of features that make it a particularly high-performance solution for infrastructure projects:
- Monobloc ductile iron frame with top flange design as cast, with no welded joints or bolted connections, providing optimum mechanical strength
- Hinged triangular ductile iron covers, incorporating advanced safety and operating features: safety blocking device to prevent accidental closure and self-cleaning hinge
- ¼-turn locking device as standard, with an optional burglar-resistant locking system
- High level of customisation, with a choice of markings, surface finishes and polyester coatings in custom colours
The TRIGUARD range of access hatches has been specifically designed for installation on telecommunications and fibre-optic network cable chambers. These lockable hinged access hatches are also suitable for a wide range of other underground utility structures that require reliable access for inspection and maintenance operations.
TRIGUARD access hatches are available on request with either a ductile iron frame or a concrete/ductile iron frame.

Main features
- ¼ turn locking device with stainless steel H22 hex. head (other head types available upon request).
- Safety blocking device to prevent accidental cover closure.
- Lifting & installation: 4 × M16 lifting points, one at each corner of the frame.
- 85 × 45 × 6 mm recess in the master cover for identification plate

D400 : Carriageways of roads (including pedestrian streets), hard shoulders and parking areas, for all types of road vehicles.
Certification
Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.
Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
