KE | Heavy Duty Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 600 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The KE range of heavy-duty ductile iron access hatches is designed for areas subject to high wheel loads, including docks, ports and aircraft pavements.
Certified to load class E600 in accordance with EN 124-2, the KE provides a robust and durable access solution for demanding infrastructure applications.
The access hatch features solid-top triangular ductile iron covers combined with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Their three-point suspension provides a non-rocking design and high stability under heavy traffic conditions.
Particularly suitable for telecommunications, fibre-optic and other utility networks, the KE range is also designed for a wide variety of underground structures.

Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Steel hot-dip galvanized, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
