PC | Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 400 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The PC range of ductile iron access hatches is designed for demanding road and underground utility applications.
Certified to load class D400 in accordance with EN 124-2, the PC provides a robust and durable access solution for carriageways, hard shoulders and parking areas used by all types of road vehicles.
The access hatch features solid-top triangular ductile iron covers combined with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Their three-point suspension provides a non-rocking design and high stability under heavy traffic conditions.
The P range is particularly suitable for district heating, district cooling, hot-water and steam distribution networks, thanks to its large clear opening.

Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Steel hot-dip galvanized, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
