KEV | Heavy Duty Lockable Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 600 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The KEV range of heavy-duty lockable ductile iron access hatches is designed for areas subject to high wheel loads, including docks, ports and aircraft pavements.
Certified to load class E600 in accordance with EN 124-2, the KEV provides a robust and durable access solution for demanding infrastructure applications.
The access hatch features solid-top triangular ductile iron covers combined with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Their three-point suspension provides a non-rocking design and high stability under heavy traffic conditions.
Particularly suitable for telecommunications, fibre-optic and other utility networks, the KEV range is also designed for a wide variety of underground structures.
Each hatch is equipped as standard with a quarter-turn locking device.

Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.

E600 : Areas imposing high wheel loads, e.g. docks, aircraft pavements.
Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Steel hot-dip galvanized, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
