MAXUM 800 VENTED is a hinged solid top cast iron vented manhole cover (D400) featuring a large clear opening, designed for heavy traffic areas including cars and HGVs at urban speeds.
Equipped with a non-rocking gasket made from a one-piece molded EPDM seal, ensuring enhanced stability, noise reduction, and a secure fit under traffic conditions.
Specifically engineered for sewer network ventilation, this ventilated manhole cover promotes air circulation and helps prevent the formation and accumulation of hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).
Engineered to meet D400 load class requirements, this high-performance cast iron access cover combines durability, corrosion resistance, and efficient gas ventilation, making it an ideal solution for urban infrastructure and wastewater management systems.
Optionally available with a lifting assistance system, designed to improve operator safety and facilitate easier handling during installation and maintenance operations.
