Geneva (CH) tramway extension

SOVAL recently took part in the project to extend Geneva’s tramway network. This mobility project for the city, led by SIG, completes the current network by serving one of the largest business areas in the canton of Geneva. The axis under development will see major urban growth, with a total of 36,000 residents and employees served within 300m of the tramway by 2030.

The aim was to be able to cover very large openings to allow people and equipment to pass through in complete safety.

Our TITAN solid top hinged access hatch solution has been selected for its ability to integrate special features such as dense traffic flow, run-off watertightness and fall protection grid into a unique product capable of covering wide duct access chambers and cable draw pits.

Networks – Havana Club distillery (Cuba) As part of its growth, Havana Club, a distillery and rumery in Cuba, has started constructing additional structures. Vonroll Hydro and Soval Export’s partnership enabled the delivery and installation of ductile cast iron pipes and fittings with the “FM Approval” label for sanitation and fire protection.
