Ductile Iron Access Hatches – 250 kN | EN 124-2 Certified

Our ductile iron manhole covers are equipped with solid top covers and a fall safety mesh grid, designed to withstand loads up to 250 kN, fully compliant with the EN 124-2 standard. These access covers ensure durability and long-term performance in demanding environments.

The LTV range of locked access covers is specifically engineered for installation in dry network chambers, including telecommunications and fibre optic infrastructures. These access hatches are also suitable for a wide variety of underground structures, offering reliable and secure access solutions.

Each access hatch is supplied as standard with a ¼ turn locking device, ensuring easy operation, enhanced security, and efficient maintenance access.

Place of use

C250 : For gully tops installed in the area of kerbside channels of roads which when measured from the kerb edge, extend a maximum of 0,5m into the carriageway and a maximum of 0,2m into the footway.

Material

Hatch Cover(s) – Spheroidal (ductile) cast iron EN-GJS-500-7.
Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
Hatch Frame – Steel hot-dip galvanized,
average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
Fall safety mesh grid – Steel mesh of 50 x 50 mm.
Steel hot-dip galvanized, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
