TITAN 1000 access cover E600 class
Multipurpose locked hinged and lift assisted access hatch made of cast iron, TITAN 1000 available in several lengths is designed to cover every underground structure with a side of 1 meter and completes our range of E600 multi-leaf cover..
Its one-of-a-kind design means that TITAN 1000 can be equipped with a wide range of options (dense traffic flow, runoff watertightness, fall safety equipment) even after sealing without any work on civil engineering.
Main features
Slam lock – Automatic burglar-proof “Pushed & Slammed “.
Hardware and fasteners made of stainless steel.
Assist lift with reinforced steel gas struts.
Safety blocking to prevent accidental cover closure, activated automatically at the opening of the cover.
Place of use
E600 : Areas imposing high wheel loads, e.g. docks, aircraft pavements.
Certification
Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.
Material
Hatch Cover(s) – Spheroidal cast iron EN-GJS-500-7.
Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
Hatch Frame – Steel hot-dip galvanized,
average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
Gasket : EPDM.
Options
Fall safety equipment – railing, independent bars or solidary bars.
Runoff watertightness 3rd certified by TÜV Germany.
Stainless steel frame.
Assist lift with stainless steel gas struts or springs.

Each cover is lift assisted in opening and closing for easy handling by a single person, by :

Automatic burglar-proof lock «Pushed & Slammed»
TITAN 1000 is equipped with lock device pushed & slammed on each cover :
- Burglar-proof, through hole
- Automatic closing
- Ergonomic key with two features : locking/unlocking and handling in operation
Bespoke
Covers are coated with a black water-based paint. In option, we offer a topcoating colored polyester paint – RAL color on request.
On request, each cover can be tailor-made by :
- A special badging & marking embossed and moulded in raw material
- Set up of a stainless steel plate
Watertightness / Odor-tight
Each cover is equipped with an EPDM gasket fastened by stainless steel screws. Watertightness is obtained by the addition of crossbeams and 5 stainless steel compression bolts per cover.
