Ductile Iron Access Hatches – 250 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
Our ductile iron manhole covers are equipped with solid top covers and designed to withstand loads up to 250kN, fully compliant with the EN 124-2 standard. These access covers ensure durability, safety, and long-term performance in demanding environments.
The 2XKTVAA range features a locked, hinged, and lift-assisted access cover system, ensuring safe and easy handling during maintenance operations. It is particularly suited for underground structure such as storm water overflow basins, valve chambers, wastewater lift stations.
Each access hatch is supplied as standard with a ¼ turn locking device, ensuring easy operation, enhanced security, and efficient maintenance access.
Each access cover is equipped with a removable central support beam (HUB beam), designed to maximise the clear opening for improved access when required. For optimized installation, the frame is supplied as a single-piece unit (monobloc design), ready to be installed into the slab.
