KFVAA | Extra-Heavy-Duty Hinged Lift-Assisted Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 900 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The KFVAA range of extra-heavy-duty hinged lift-assisted ductile iron access hatches is designed for areas imposing particularly high wheel loads, e.g. aircraft pavements.
Certified to load class F900 in accordance with EN 124-2, the KFVAA provides a robust and durable access solution for demanding infrastructure applications.
The access hatch features solid-top triangular ductile iron covers combined with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Their three-point suspension provides a non-rocking design and high stability under heavy traffic conditions.
Each hatch is equipped as standard with a quarter-turn locking device and gas-strut lift assistance. An automatic safety blocking device prevents accidental closure, ensuring safe and convenient operation during access and maintenance.

Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.

F900 : Areas imposing particularly high wheel loads, e.g. aircraft pavements.
Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Hot-dip galvanized steel, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
