KTVA | Hinged Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 250 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The KTVA range of hinged ductile iron access hatches is designed for demanding road and underground utility applications.
Certified to load class C250 in accordance with EN 124-2, the KTVA provides a robust and durable access solution.
Particularly suitable for telecommunications, fibre-optic and other utility networks, the KTVA range is also designed for a wide variety of underground structures.
Each hatch is equipped as standard with a quarter-turn locking device. An automatic safety blocking device prevents accidental closure, ensuring safe and convenient operation during access and maintenance.

Certification
Complies with the requirements of EN-124-2 standard. Third-party certified with TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH mark.
Place of use
C250 : For gully tops installed in the area of kerbside channels of roads which when measured from the kerb edge, extend a maximum of 0,5m into the carriageway and a maximum of 0,2m into the footway.
Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Hot-dip galvanized steel, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
