TITAN-1000 | Heavy-Duty Hinged Lift-Assisted Ductile Iron Access Hatch – 600 kN | EN 124-2 Certified
The TITAN-1000 is a heavy-duty ductile iron access hatch designed for industrial and infrastructure applications subject to high wheel loads. Certified to load class E600 in accordance with EN 124-2, it combines solid-top ductile iron covers with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Each cover is hinged, automatically locked and lift-assisted for safe and easy one-person operation. Its modular design provides a 1000 mm clear width and can be extended in length to suit a wide range of underground structures.

Material
- Hatch Cover(s) : Ductile Iron EN-GJS-500-7. Finished by water based black paint, environmentally friendly.
- Hatch Frame : Hot-dip galvanized steel, average thickness 90µm according to ISO 1461.
- Gasket : One-piece EPDM.

Lift assistance
Each cover is lift assisted in opening and closing for easy handling by a single person, by :

Automatic burglar-proof lock «Pushed & Slammed»
TITAN 1000 is equipped with lock device pushed & slammed on each cover :
- Burglar-proof, through hole
- Automatic closing
- Ergonomic key with two features : locking/unlocking and handling in operation
Bespoke
Covers are coated with a black water-based paint. In option, we offer a topcoating colored polyester paint – RAL color on request.
On request, each cover can be tailor-made by :
- A special badging & marking embossed and moulded in raw material
- Set up of a stainless steel plate
Watertightness / Odor-tight
Each cover is equipped with an EPDM gasket fastened by stainless steel screws. Watertightness is obtained by the addition of crossbeams and 5 stainless steel compression bolts per cover.
