As part of the project to extend the Brussels subway supported by the STIB, Beliris and Bruxelles-Mobilité, SOVAL was selected to supply a complete batch of TITAN hatches to equip a new electrical substation.

TITAN solid top hinged strut assist lift access hatch solution has been chosen for its ability to suit a variety of formats and sizes (here 1000×1000 1000×4240 and 2090x3175mm clear opening) with independent covers that can be operated separately, integrating fall safety equipment, intrusion detection sensors, burglar-proof lock and panic hardware.

The 3D designs in the pre-project phase helped the public works company to integrate the equipment in the best possible way, adapting its reinforcement accordingly and therefore saving a considerable amount of time during installation.
